Well done, fella! You have made Daddy Trav very happy!
Top notch videos. I would love to see these decks in action against a broader base (at least one video against Vamps!) However, I think you did manage to do a great job of demonstrating the strengths and relative reaches of each of these decks.
Also, it seems like the GW deck should just smash the Kor armory deck, since it has so many chumps and beaters. Is the rise of Kor Armory, the GW deck’s ticket out of “fringe” territory?
I really don’t see why your opponent when you were playing U/W in the first game didn’t attempt to play his Felidar Sovereign even knowing you had Cancel. Doing that if you countered he would have been able to play Summoning Trap for trap cost and dodge Spell Pierce. At that point in the game and with 6 cards in his own hand it wouldn’t be unfair to say if he gave himself a turn he might have had outs. Not to mention the Felidar Sovereign could have forced another reset by you via Day of Judgment allowing him even more time. (going on to part 2 of video ^^)

Ronin, G/x decks really were the only decks I had a problem with when I was playing Armory for all those months. Nissa’s Chosen, as well as the absurd life-gain really hurts Armory’s game plan. The problem with G/W is that it has a bad matchup vs. U/W Control – which happens to be about 30% of the field. Also, I plan on having more matchups on Friday.
Hovertical, if you are talking about Game One, he was dead on board at that point. if he had played the Felidar, I would have simply swung in for 3, when he was at 2. There is no way I would have countered his Felidar to walk into a Summoning Trap at that point.
