It’s official: We’ve again entered the “lame duck” phase of Magic Online, where the online world lags behind the release of a new set. Usually this lagging is not as big of a deal for Block as it is for, say, Standard. However, the third set of a block always leads to the Block Constructed Pro Tour, this year set in Barcelona, Spain. This deprivation of MTGO for testing is always detrimental, but more on that later. Now, we’re battling through another Daily with the current Block format which is relevant for at least a few more weeks:

So, let’s talk about Avacyn Restored in an ISD Block Constructed context. Or, rather, let me tell you why I’m not going to talk about Avacyn Restored this week. Pro Tour – Avacyn Restored is in a couple of weeks, and I have friends who are going (sadly having lost myself to one of those friends in the finals of a PTQ). Anything I talk about today will be tainted by my knowledge of decks that I’ve been sworn to secrecy over. Since I want the hometown boys to win, I’m going to talk about Avacyn Restored next time instead. I’m sorry for the radio silence that everyone in the Magic community is giving Block right now, but the Pro Tour is kind of a big deal. I will tell you this, though: Boros did not get weaker with Avacyn Restored.
Next time, I promise!
Thanks for reading.

I think your 3rd round opponent may well have been correct devil’s playing your 2/2s rather than highborn ghouls. If he only has 1 more land in hand and does not want to block the ghouls anyway, then it is correct to throw 2 at one of the 2/2s, so that you can play your 4th land and flashback DP on the highborn ghoul.
As it happens he played more lands, but you don’t know whether he had them in hand at the time. If he only had the 4th in hand, then I think he played correctly to ensure that he could kill 2 guys with the DP.
I know block is about to get shaken up and you don’t want to reveal any “tech”. But at least include comments about what worked/didn’t work about this deck. I love me some Sorin, but he looked super mediocre in these vids – the added “reach” (though I think increasing your clock through incremental creature pump isn’t really “reach”) came into play less frequently than the mana issues/virtual mulls he caused – but this was obviously a small sample size.
You talk about the meta a bit, but not really this deck’s place in it. Would you say this is your current favorite version of Zombies? In your opinion is Zombies any good in the current meta? Etc.
Keep of the vids. Looking forward to more block on the other side of the MTGO black hole.
Stop conceding so early, please. Kind of frustrating to watch a whole match and have you concede when you could still win.
