  2. Hellcarver Demon will be the cheapest as the other to have great decks they can go into.

  3. Cast Through Time will be the cheapest. We already have effects like this in Mirari and others. And at its cost, it is likely just win-more.

    Khalni Hydra is going to be too popular. Hellcarver Demon is a build-around-me card. Both these types continue to draw players to them. I think the Hydra will wind up the most expensive of the three.

  4. I think Cast Through Time is going to be the cheapest. It seems like a janky card, even though it would be fun with certain cards. Like Time Warp.

  6. Cast Through Time for cheapest also. People will try to break it as they tried with Pyromancer Ascension, but it just doesn’t work. Hydra is a perfectly acceptable Timmy card and Hellcarver Demon has potential for cool casual experiments and stories.

  7. Cast Through Time will be cheapest. As others have said Demon will have casual appeal especially as a way to cast the eldrazi.

  8. Cast Through Time is cheapest hands down.

    Now demon will place second unless people play him in R/B or B/G and can consistantly pump him out T3-T4. So might have sleeper value as Iona did for awhile.

    Hydra takes the cake here he’ll be worth his fair share of tix.

  10. Hmm… that’s a tough call… Hydra is definitely not the cheapest…
    The demon is pretty Janky, but reminds me of Rakdos the Defiler in an odd way… At least he doesn’t clear your other permanents unless he connects…
    Cast Through Time screams Commander and Casual as well. Being able to double up on all your spells seems excellent.

    I have to give the lowest price to Hellcarver Demon… nuking your own board, while potentially paying off well, could also just hit 3 or more lands, and geddoning yourlself is a recipe for disaster.

  11. Cast Through Time is my guess for cheapest. Hellcarver will be second cheapest, and the Hydra the most expensive.

  12. Cast Through time will be the cheapest. Next cheapest will be the Demon, and Hydra will be the most.

  13. Interesting choice. I think ultimately Cast Through Time will probably have the most enduring value, for the same reasons that similar effects continue to appeal the Johnnies of all stripes.

    Hellcarver Demon might possibly be sneaky good under the right circumstances, but that deck will take enough work that I don’t think it will see any price increase that soon.

    Clearly Khalni Hydra has immediate applications for everyone who loves to play out a green hoard, since he is pretty easy to bring down on turn 3 in an elf deck. Heck, he might even be constructed playable (out of the board if nothing else) if he wasn’t contending with 10/10s and 20/20s in the same time frame.

    In the end I have to go with Hellcarver in the short run (2 weeks), but probably cast through time in the long run (2 years).

  22. The Hydra should be the cheapest, other than being big he doesnt really do anything interesting, whereas both the other two have something interesting going on and should be johnny favorites.

  26. Cast Through Time will be the cheapest. It has a high casting cost and requires a heavy commitment to blue. Most blue instant and sorcery spells are situational and will not benefit you much by casting at the beginning of your upkeep. This is especially so later in the game (7 Mana later).
    The demon will be played in casual formats to get Eldrazi into play. The hydra will be played a lot more.

  28. Cast through time, the demon is at least tribal and the hydra has some casual appeal.
