Interesting! i have been considering a second account for some time, but havent gotten around to it.
My reason? I want to be in 2 clans
I created a second account to fit a similar model, and realized playing limited on the non constructed account would work out better. Unfortunately, that loses me QPs on the primary account and I had to switch back.
Another great use for a second account is to dump versions of cards you don’t want so your deck builder won’t select them. Recently I got rid of almost all the basic lands in my account except for one version of each basic that I wanted to use in decks. That can be game relevant, by the way, if your opponents use different pictures of the same basic to figure out that you have a land in your hand. I also shipped white border versions or ugly art versions of cards to the second account so the one I select for my deck will always be the pretty black bordered version. And if foils annoy you, you can dump them off to a second account, too.
Brilliant ideas. I’ve just gotten into MTGO big time and am already having the irritations mentioned.
