I believe that would be an “unkindness” of ravens in m2g1. Appropriate!
More AVR…………………………………………………………………………………………..
M2G1 was just cruel, nothing can withstand mono mist ravens.
I thought that when infinite reflection leaves play you creatures still remain copies of the creature that was attached to it, it seems you held off attacking in match 2 to keep his Voice alive so your creatures wouldn’t revert, when they are permanent copies.
@Ray: That’s correct. Even if Infinite Reflection leaves play, all the creatures that are already Ravens would continue to be Ravens. I thought Marshall talked about this card on the podcast, but maybe not.
Match 2 was one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a long time.
@Ray Yes that is correct, but then anything I drew after that wouldn’t be a Voice, and I felt like Voice was better than the creatures I would be drawing since the game was going to go a bit long anyway.
Match 3 sideboarding, I know Fleeting Distractions is only alright, but Narstad’s Crapper
Why yes, this comment IS only to make that joke.
m1g2 why did u cast the fleeting dis early, you had the 2 for 1, seems better than seeing if he had a joint assault…that one left me confused but great work, keep up the great content, thanks
Any thoughts of trying out IPA formats for our enjoyment? I’d love to see you take a crack at it.
M2G2 rather than Cloudshifting the Voice of the Provinces to get another human, why not let his Voice die and then Cloudshift your Goldnight Redeemer? You’d gain 12 life and be left with a 4/4 that he can’t deal with, along with your other 2 3/3s and tokens. You do give up some value in that future creatures you draw are just going to be durdles, but you make it much harder for him to kill you and present a pretty good threat, I think.
Marshall, I would like to see you try this next vid : make second guess work !
When i play blue in AVR i usually have 2 of them, play peel from reality during oponents upkeep to kick his biggy back and my great ETB-creature (cathedral sanctifier, mistraven). Then you have counterspell up for his play… and he doesn’t expect it (at least not the first time ).
