You should have lost the first round, but your opponent just didn’t attack for some reason.
I loved Alara block, but the limited format was just such a god awful mess.
I’m fine with taking the Progenitus if you just want a copy for yourself, but there is no reason to pretend that card is ever going in your deck. The only way I can ever see it being cast in limited is in a 15 mana elf, 5 Kaleidostone deck (tho you’ll prbly lose every game that you didn’t draw Progenitus). Dragonsoul Knight was clearly a better card for your deck since it would be okay even before you got to 5 colors.
Perhaps you weren’t here last week when Marshall lost to a deck that successfully cast Progenitus in one of the games.
This is a slow weird format. Progenitus is castable a lot more often than you’d think.
Has anyone else noticed since youtube made changes to the interface recently that it’s a lot harder to read cards on videos?
There’s another alara draft from Marshall on gathering magic that may be more… satisfying, I haven’t watched yet though.
The premature GG is one of the worst. Everyone that does it should be banished to Siberia.
