  1. Maybe I’m crazy, but the black guy seems between good and insane, and the 7-drop seems pretty good. Green giant definitely thickens your draws if you get to swing with him.

  2. Is it me, or do these things seem more like the mythics wizards promised us back during shards? :P

  3. wow grave titan is SICK!! wonder if he can see some play in reanimator? t2 titan and 2 2/2 zombies. green guy hmm bring 2 land cards, doesn’t say basic land so that can be some what decent in the future maybe? R/G Valakut ramp?

  4. These cards are rather awesome. Though some work better in certain formats. I know the Primeval Titan is going into my EDH deck. The Grave Titan is 10 power for 6 mana, I might be wrong but i think that it might make an appearance in a standard decklist. Monoblack beatdown??

  5. I saw the black giant on the mtg website, and I thought it was pretty awesome, however, looking at the green one, I think it is even more awesome.

The key is that they are any 2 land cards, and it works when he enters play as well as when he swings. So for 6 mana, he will provide a 6/6 body with trample and find your eldrazi temple/eye of ugin, etc, which I think would be sick in eldrazi ramp. I guess we’ll see

  6. All 3 look powerful and I think the titans in particular will see a lot of play in Standard and new extended. Gaea’s Revenge looks meh, might see some play, not too sure about it yet though

  7. Anon – Yeah I can see it doing well in a landfall deck, you can tutor two fetchlands, sac and fetch and with your regular land drop that turn that could be 6 lands hitting play in one turn, that could be a KO move without the titan even swinging.

  8. I look forward to using the Green Titan too. Looks like it’ll be a limited, constructed and casual hit :D

  9. Green one just says “land,” not “basic land”? Okay, so it’s really good, too.

  10. The green is this set seems like it has some crazy stuff I really cant wait for this to comeout now

  11. Primeval Titan
@Anszilly…lands come in play tapped…but the part where you can tutor any land is awesome, but putting it directly in play is even awesome even if tapped. Primeval Titan is definitely going to be an EDH staple.

Grave Titan is a beatstick definitely. I rather have trample or flying, cuz its power will take down most defenses anyway. Its a beater, so don’t say it stops Eldrazi, cuz it can only block and kill one of them, which you should just chump with a tokens anyways.

Gaea’s Revenge has haste, but no trample. Are equipments non-green? It will see some play, but probably not over Avenger of Zendikar in the 7 spot.

  12. @DIRTYD33DS
I know it comes into play tapped…but it comes into PLAY, and then the next turn you have those lands active.

  13. Maybe the Green Titan can be combined with that Artifact that untaps permanents coming into play. Searching up two fetchlands and then immeidately fetching two more lands would be a pretty huge boost to any Landfall dude.

  14. That green titan is going straight into my sneak attack deck. After I sneak him out once, I can just hard cast everything else.
