Classic League 2012-13 is a player-run Classic tournament series, hosted by Classic Quarter (and run by Unlocking the Vault author enderfall), sponsored by MTGO Academy and MTGO Traders, and made possible through generous prize donations from Wizards of the Coast and a multitude of dedicated Classic fans. As you can read about in the forums, the 2012-13 Classic League is broken into several qualifier tournaments, from which successful players will be invited to an invitational this year on July 20th (my birthday!). Below are the swiss rounds of the fourth qualifier tournament — which have now ended — from the perspective of me, PlanetWalls.
Feel free to ask any questions about the format, the tournament structure, etc., in the comments. You can see all the decklists represented in the tournament on the Yawgmoth’s Soap Opera page here.
In this tournament, I’m playing a deck based around the power of Meddling Mage, Phyrexian Revoker, and Cavern of Souls. Check out my decklist below, and then you can check out my matches.

Unfortunately, I finished 9th place, so I just barely missed out on making the Top 8 for this tournament.
Answer to the stealing and post combat equiping with skullclamp, is that taking care of signalpest’s's’ will bring you ahead in the race, and draw you cards, and make his memnites obsolet, so yes, steal and equip the signal pest.
In M1G1 I think stealing signal pest and killing it to draw some cards would have put you way ahead if you started doing that when you first got the magus out, however by the time you drew the trinket mage it would have been too little too late, so your play was correct. Thanks for classic videos, I thought everyone had forgotten about classic
My Round 4 opponent forfeit due to a busy schedule, which is why the videos above skip from 3 to 5.
