Great Content as always. As the M14 format evolves I for one am glad to see some winning decks utilizing white, no offense. I also liked when you called a pick ‘conservative’ and you thoroughly explained why, also showing the result in matches you played, very helpful.
wanted to say I like the new condensed style of the video links
Thanks, Simon. Although it would have been proper and better to go into blue, as a spectator, I am glad you went with black. Everyone and their grandmother seems to produce blue-X M14 draft videos. It’s nice to see Golgari for a change. =) So, thanks!
Thanks as always for the excellent draft and brilliant commentary. Sorry about the mana flood. I do enjoy your recaps at the end, which are chock full of great info including thoughtful and forthright criticism of picks and game play choices. Nevertheless, I’d like to put in another vote for your introductions. I recognize that they’re doubtless a great deal more work to prepare, particularly when you’re making your excellent charts and diagrams, but I’d encourage you to consider revisiting that model when the mood strikes you or when you feel you’ve something to contribute to our understanding of limited formats. I’ve found your intros to be invaluable mini-lectures that treat larger theoretical considerations that are more difficult to address in game play or post-game recaps, which tend, quite understandably, to focus on the particulars of the matches at hand.
Agree wholeheartedly with Premier. Your “circle of aggro/control” presentation still holds with me today every time I crack a pack in limited.
Great videos/explanations as usual, Simon.
I like that you didn’t just go into blue. It may have been the more competitive choice, but that doesn’t always make for the best viewing/learning experience. I appreciate your trying different combos.
+1 for intros. I want ALL your knowledge.
Thanks!
Also agree with Premier, your intros set the stage for what we should be looking for in the videos and I found them entertaining and informational. Great job on the videos.
