Nice snapshot of the 2 frontrunners of the new sets effect on standard. I am curious of your thoughts on block constructed. How do u see that shaping up? Keep up the great content and I look forward to more vids.
Block is very hard to predict. For Innistrad, there is a decent amount of fixing so far, so it probably won’t be a repeat of SOM Block. Graveyard interactions will be prevalent, so depending on how good the gy hate cards are, those decks will be reasonable.
Burning Vengeance is the Lightning Rift of the format, and has a lot of potential as more sets are released. It could definitely be a frontrunner.
As for Snapcaster itself, it will be huge in block. It fits the “gy” decks and the control decks.
Liliana (and other planeswalkers) should be good in block. Her +1 ability could be a liability though. :/
Also, on Stony Silence, it’s also an efficient way to shut down Birthing Pod (and Sylvok Replica). It could actually be a reasonable choice if Birthing Pod gets played.
