Game one you should have casted ooze with cavern… It would have been game!
Legacy is a cool format, but the column is called Standard Spike so it seems off focus.
I love to watch legacy, but these matches where you pretend you don’t know what you are playing against… three times in a row, is not of my like’ing. I would much prefere if you could join an event,
@Exile’em: He tried to play game one as if he played an unknown opponent, in which case you most likely would avoid putting Cavern on Ooze unless you put him on reanimator from just Fetch-> island ->Ponder.
Round 2, Game 1, why do you wait for his upkeep to use the pridemage? Imho getting both of his Guys off the board is worth giving him the 6 life from the block. He only has 3 lands in play, so he most likely can’t go Show&Tell into Grislbrand and draw, because it would put him dead on board against Maze. So he most likely has to find both Animate Dead 3&4 just to be not dead while with your play, S&T for Angel of Despair seems to be another out for him to at least survive the next turns. You are of course highly favored with both plays but the fact, that he can’t use the extra life to draw cards and get a second creature in to survive unless he has all remaining Animate dead’s would let me favor the line where you force him to chump Knight 1 turn earlier.
