  2. I see you dropped Sorin entirely, which I agree with. Seems like you were always boarding him out anyway. Maybe Lilliana would be a better fit with a 3 CMC for Sun Titan and help powering the graveyard synergy or atleast trade your extra lands for their spells.

  3. In Match 2, Game 2, when he attacks with Geist+Sword and Delver, you could have blocked the Geist with your Golem token before popping Ratchet Bomb in order to save 5 life. I only mention it because you quickly thought about the combat immediately afterwards and passed it by with the conclusion that you couldn’t have done anything better.

  4. In round 1 g2, couldn’t you have Revoked the O-ring in response to Surgical using the returning Sun Titan to get the image back and fizzle Surgical.

  5. aww, man…I was hoping for another run with the loam deck. After our little scrimmage last week and you chiding me for playing a “bad” version of loam (no goyf), I went and got them. Was coming to see what you were doing to that list…

I despise standard, but I watched your videos anyway. I like this deck, but I don’t have anything really thoughtful to add nor am I going to grind standard…

You are always fun to watch tho…keep postin’ em and I’ll keep watchin’ em.

  6. I like the deck, tried it on last week’s fnm and went 3-0-1.

What do you board in the second snapcaster against?

Ain’t the deck extremely weak against an surgical extraction of Sun Titan?

Keep up the good work :)

  7. @Mike I, Liliana would be an okay fit, but that would require moving much deeper into black which isn’t exactly the direction I want to go. Also, Liliana is pretty lacking against the card Lingering Souls.

@apaulogy, Is the deck doing well for you? I got kinda scared that it would get hated out after it won a GP. It’s pretty difficult to beat almost any form of gy hate (except Cage, as you can still work around it).

@Jawa, The second Snapcaster is boarded in against almost everything. I couldn’t make room in the md for it, but postboard there’s usually room and also usually more targets. It also serves as an additional answer to Geist of Saint Traft, a card that is responsible for a lot of the deck’s losses.

  8. I am still having moderate success with it in 2-mans (which, I know, is generally subpar opponents with bad decks, but I am still fighting Relics and whatnot). I am 23-9 with it there. All of me DE energy has been put into 4-0′ing sealeds (3 so far) because I want to qualify for MOCS this month.

I also am not running ghast or smallpox. I have 3 Liliana + Bob + 1 Witness instead.

I have also been tinkering with BW Tokens.

I might run it is a DE this weekend. Hit me up on MODO if you want to test any new brews or whatev.
